I can't find the chest in the demon realm, is it me or isn't there any in CE edition ?

haelara: on your graphic card control panel, on Nvidia cards, it's in the the Nvidia control panel under Adjust desktop size and position.

If I remember correct VTMB doesn't support wide screen, you probably had you monitor setup to stretch the image. You can do that in the monitor setup, or in the control panel of your graphic card, you probably updated your gfx driver, which resets all your settings.

Yes, and on hard. Why do you assume everyone cheats ? the game is not that difficult, I have completed the game with most of the classes you can choose.

It could also be a heat problem, does the BSOD comes immediately or after sometime ? Try checking the Graphic card fan for dust.

Windows automatically protects all the files in the program files, if you install an old program or game, you can have trouble with the user rights to a given file in the directory, a solution to that is either run the game in compatibility mode or simply install the game in a different folder than ...

What's your CPU, graphic card and OS ?

Did you change the resolution to 800x600 and adjusted your graphic card settings ?

During the intro, the screen shifts to 800x600 resolution. Perhaps it is your screen, do you have an old screen that need to be adjusted when you shift resolution ?

It works fine, if you use the resolution patch or the unofficial patch.

That's not the reason, are you running Titan quest or Immortal throne ?

That's not true, you can wield magic weapons in your off hand, there is no right rule for this, you can wield 2 great diamond swords for example, you can also use some heavy 2-handed weapons, you will have to try them out to find out.

The most important thing is the graphic card, any newer processor will run the game. BTW, have you installed directx 9.0c ?

That's strange, I have set mine to xp sp2 and nothing else, but it also run fine without compatibility settings turned on. Have you tried to uninstall completely and delete any old files ? What are your system specs ?
Mine are Vista x64 sp2, geforce 8800GT, quadcore Q6600@3.0GHz and 8 GB RAM.

Patch 1.2 is included in the unofficial patch 6.3, try using the patch, on a fresh install

I would Install the latest one (6.3), I honestly can't remember what version started to have the vista fixes included, I know 6.1 have them, but I'm not sure about earlier versions.
