How would i go about increasing performance?

Also another problem, on the unpatched version of the game whenever i use protean rank 1(seeing in the dark) the whole screen goes white.

I too had the same problem, but it was my fault and not the games. I got side tracked when talking to her, thought i had the quest, said bye bye and left to slash the paintings :)

Are you sure you actualy picked up the quest, and are you using any mods or unofficial patches ...

Awesome, its best to just play the game without cheats at first. I got squished when i got into that lift shaft but got it the second go although i had my sound off so it was tricky to see what happened at first.

No it says max ammo "6" with my pistol and wont let me buy and or pick it up off the gorund. Same with shotgun. What i can do it drop my current supposed full "0/6 max 6" shotgun and pick up one with three shots in it then when those have been used i drop. Also when i try patching the game ...
