turns out it was the fsb, i dont see why that would effect it, but it does... so now the gameplay wont be quite as smooth, but at least it wont crash.... + the infogames site said something about the runtime error being because of read ahead optimisation on the cdrom, so i may look at that next if it doesnt work.. But it did work before, which is why i think it was a software program (too much freeware)

Nope, the movies are fine, have you installed the via 4.24 drivers, and got the l8st drivers for your graphics card (dont run your nvidia card at 4x if you have one, run it at 2x, it will be the cause of nearly all your problems if you do), have you got a recent bios version??

The shadow dragon is easier because of the wardstone.. you can surround it, put your ppl all round the room so it can only buffet 1 at a time, put your melee next to it, summon lodza things and put them next to it, then pause, press talk, then attack with everything and unpause, you have about 5 ...
