Experience & Level-Up Guide
Welcome to our Fallout experience & level-up guide!

The guide gives you an experience table followed by the hit points, skill points & perks tables, and concludes by listing the other miscellaneous tabs on your character screen.

Experience in this game is gained at the same rate as in D&D 3rd Edition: i.e., begin at level 1, earn 1,000xp through level 1 to advance, 2,000xp through level 2, etc. The maximum level in Fallout is 21. Here's the xp table and the relevant titles to each rank:

Hit Points @ Level-Up

Hit points every level-up are decided by this formula:

2 + (Endurance / 2)

Skill Points @ Level-Up

Every level-up, your character will gain a number of skill points based on this formula:

5 + (Intelligence * 2)

Perks @ Level Up

Perks are similar to feats in D&D, and are gained at a normal rate of one every three levels. With the "skilled" optional trait, perks are gained every four levels.
