| This amulet once belonged to the great warlock Alerun Ophon, who had created an institution not dissimilar from the Academy of Shapers and Binders. With their dark contacts and imbue item ability, warlocks excelled at such research and many came to study and learn from Alerun. While a skilled practitioner of the arts, Alerun had little patience for diplomacy and this ultimately led to his downfall. The Red Wizards saw his school as too great of a threat and demolished it after a fierce magical battle that lit up the skies of Thaymount for miles. |
