The work on my 'Ring of Astral Power' is progressing well; it can already store astral powers quite some time, but in order to advance my studies of Necromancy, I will have to increase its capacity and the duration of its effect even more.
One of the votaries from Prenn's Grove discovered me as I was going to my laboratory the other night. I was already afraid that I might have to kill him, but he didn't seem to be repelled by what I'm doing. To the contrary, he seemed quite fascinated by it. I found out that he didn't enter the Peraine Order entirely voluntarily, but was pushed to take this path by his family.
