So the startgey guide says the puzzle box is in the Cells of Hollow Hand on the bottom shelf of a three tiered shelf. I cannot find it there or...

Like the spell, stats and inventory screen, it's expandable. Just click on the map icon, and tug the corner of the map screen to expand it.
