Yet another widescreen mod question..

Hi,

I'm terribly sorry for asking what I suspect is a dumb question, but I've searched the forums and everyone seems preoccupied with problems once they have gotten the widescreen to sort of work. My issue is that I can't get it to work at all.

I installed it in the game directory, and when I go ...

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop but I wanted to make sure it fits the requirements for Oblivion, and I have a feeling you guys know more about this than me. I think there might be an issue with the amount of GHz on the processor? Does it help me in any way that it's a dual core?

Specs ...

Allright, I did delete the files and run the Ccleaner and the problem still remains, still can't uninstall the game.

I took a screenshot of the error message to (hopefully) make things a bit more clear.

The 'play' button on the autorun menu of course doesn't work because the installation never ...

Thanks for the reply.

I did try the regedit method through a guide on the internet but it seems there are some files missing that prevents me from using that method. Like I said, I'm no expert but I suspect that the installation maybe didn't come as far as to implementing thoose files. But most ...

In dire need of tech support

Hey.

I tried searching the forums but I've got a feeling my problem is of, atleast a rare kind.

I installed this game as usual, and out of boredom I tabbed out and surfed a bit to kill the time. I tab back and see the process has reached 51% so I figure it's time to change the CD. But no matter ...

Bugged doors

The problem is that there is this sort of black field in an area around the doors. Whenever I close in on it I end up a few feet up in the air, as if I was above the area. I suspect it's the ones with a stairway but it's only the case with a few doors anyway. Anyone had a similar problem?

Linked a ...

Could the moderator delete this thread? I got the game in itself working even though uninstalling and patching is impossible, but I'll take it to the bioware tech support.

Technical trouble

Hi.
I installed the shadows of undrentide yesterday but when I tried to update it it encountered some sort of problem and just gave me and error message. So now I can neither start, update or uninstall without getting an error message leaving with leaves with a pretty useless game.

Help?

2 man party - Noob alert

Hi! Me and a buddy are planning on running through the original NWN campaign 2 player. I got through it long ago but I don't remember much of it other then that I struggled a bit (might have resorted to some cheese :angel :) , but he's completely fresh to it all.

So yeah, we were planning on doing ...

Yeah just noticed, cleric/ranger looks really really interesting. Thanks a bunch for the tips though. Come to think of it, there is that troll cloak that rests you up in 3 seconds without even resting :p

Soloing and resting

Uh when you make a solo game, say for example kensai/mage. What do you do when you need to get healed? I mean, you need to have healing spells in the party for the resting to work right? I was thinking of doing the game 3 man and it would be such a waste to have a cleric just for the resting, and I ...

Another dual wield question..

I seem to recall seeing a discussion about dual wield proficiency here before but I couldn't find it. Someone said that 3 stars in dual wielding was a waste, any thoughts on that?

Oh, and might as well include this one as well, does the trick of levling directly from 5 to 11 when dual classing a ...

What the..?

When I created a character and pressed the "begin" button (or something like that) I start in a weird empty room that looks like something you would make in an editor or something. Incomplete that is. Not the usual cut scene with you in the bed with someone and then those guys smashing in the door ...

Someone should make a mod on that though. kind of silly sneaking around with a big two handed sword even though watching the chunks fly afterwards is kind of fun

Assasins and daggers

I often play games with assassin type characters and they often seem to benefit from daggers or even exclusively depending on daggers when backstabbing.

So yeah, any point in using daggers in BG, at least when playing an assassin kit.

I like backstabbing :mischief:
