The Demon really wasn't that tough. I think it was an air demon that attacked me, and it didn't last long enough to turn into anything else. I think. Maybe I was just lucky or something.

The fallen paladin Reynald de Chatillon who you meet in the Bridge distrcit is a direct steal off of a Frankish Crusader named.... Reynald de Chatillon. The real Reynold broke the peace treaty with the Saracens for no apparent reason and was generally an ignoble arrogant hothead.
Another thing ...

You could also look at this from another angle:

You're a god-child. And so is Sarevok. Sarevok has nearly maximum stats for everything apart from Wisdom. You've killed Sarevok though. This means you are powerful, even if you did have a party behind you. You have been told by some and have proved it ...

Mmm. I'd say cheating was doing something that couldn't be done in real life (like killing people in Talk Mode: after all, you generally don't just stand there staring when someone's trying to chop you in two with a large axe). In my opinion, it's ok to set traps down before an enemy comes (you ...

Balthazar himself is pretty easy to kill. Sure, he does lots of prancing around and posing (and knocking your party across the room and stuff) but he himself isn't tough if you can actually get close to him before he buggers off to another side of the room and starts some more prancing. Just a ...

Hey, what's wrong with Saemon? I mean, he only betrays you err... 3 times I think. I found it funny really... he's a great character. Apparantly you vengeful bastards don't forgive and forget  .

A tie between the chinchilla and his furry friends and those weird wild mages that look like Xvarts (or however you spell that). You know... the ones in the portal level of Watcher's Keep? The ones that throw exploding cows at you...

Long time....

It hath been a full turn o' the moon since last did Callimar post upon this board. Well, I've been busy (re)playing Vampire for the last month or so, and before that I was wandering about Belgium and France for a week or so. I still haven't got Throne of Bhaal yet, since apparently Black Isle can't ...

Take a whole year if you feel like it. It doesn't really seem to matter. I think the only kind of timed quest is the meeting with Bodhi (I missed the first night and the next night she wasn't there).

Me too... It is a bit ridiculous. Mind you, thieves can use most of the other good weapons in the game (CF par exemple). I take it this transfers to Items as well, not just weapons?

I soloed the game with an undead hunter and it was real easy (assuming you are familiar with the quests).I believe this kit is better for soloing.
Inquisitor abilities are more useful in a team.

I agree. After all, Dispel Magic would then be used solely on enemies, which I don't think it's all ...

The only PC mage I've been was a Transmuter in BG1. This was fine then since the only Necromancy spells were pish, but now in BGII there are much better Necromancy spells. Abjurations are just things I never use.
