How do i kill te cromatic demon in watcher's keep level 2?

10 - The only thing left is to open the door to the next level, which means you release the Chromatic Demon. Not surprisingly he attacks you. Remember -

Fire vs. Ice

Ice vs. Fire

Lightening vs. Slime

Acid & Poison vs. Air

** This means that if he shapechanges into an "Ice" Creature you have to use fire attacks, etc ...

Or you can blow the poison into the ice room and lock him in there

Eventually the poison will kill him.

The Demon really wasn't that tough. I think it was an air demon that attacked me, and it didn't last long enough to turn into anything else. I think. Maybe I was just lucky or something.

If you wait until ToB he isn't that tough, but when you try to go to WK early to get some of those neat goodies in SoA, a LOT of the battles are really tough. Things I just waltzed on by my first time through are giving me a run for my money I can tell you. I think I'm definitely going to have to save the last two (or maybe three) levels for ToB.
