I think there is a bug. Since starting Act II he has vanished although he does appear as a dot on the map.

major embarrassment -

I got home after a party Saturday night (1PM and polluted) and thought I would have a quick look at this.

To cut a long story short for some reason I looked at the map and my character was nearby but on the wrong rockslide.

Went to the correct one and walla. :) :laugh ...

sadly I did have the box in the main characters inventory. I'm stuck, can't proceed, and don't know why.

I took the box of unstable globs - walked to the rockslide + nadda. I then dropped them and had Qara shoot some magic at the box(bag ...

when he said he was marking the location on the map I assumed it was the World Map not the standard map.

I had the same so I did the rest of the tutorial to see what was what then started again and just skipped the tutorial.

At the Temple I am being told the location is being added to the map but it isn't.

Any ideas?

When there are too many locastions on the map is scrolling obvious? I can't see how there might be any unseen ones.

What exactly didn't you understand in my post above? To be clear, I don't mean to be rude in this, but I simply don't have a lot of time. If you clarify what you do not grasp, I will take the time to clarify what I meant. I have been in your situation before, and I know it is frustrating, but ...

If you want Elanee to be a better caster instead of using the shapeshifting you can turn off the option using feats during combat. Don't remember what it's exactly called but it makes sure she no longer shapeshifts, you can also put her castermode up a notch making her a nice druid caster/healer ...

As far as I know, you don't have to talk to Slaan, but to the Lizardling lieutenant that is in the room where the rest of the Lizardlings are trapped. If you've dispatched all the zombies and killed the Shadow Priest in that area, just go to the room where the Lizardlings are trapped, and hover ...

you can download a mod that removes the map pointer I believe.

It happens to me frequently too. One think I've taught myself to do is save the game when I've completed certain tasks just so I don't lose a lot of gaming.
