I still think Blast spells, or Ice Shards is among the more useful. The Ice shards operates on the same principle of Lightning, yet it freezes and pushes monsters away.

My character is wearing Deathlord Plate, and Crimson Plate, aswell as a Sapphire Crystal greatsword and a Kama of the Void. do about 20 damage each hand, and my spells vary. Nova blast does about 60-70 I think, I dont know for sure what Fire and Ice blast will hit for, as most monsters can not last ...

You oughta try Fighter/Mage/Marauder/Battlemage/Warlock. Its awesome... you can get Heavy armor/weapons up abit cheaply, and you can greatly advance your offensive array of spells. With the correct weapon combo, you can do a lot of damage very fast, and the option of heavy shields is viable.

If you have the same rank in magic weaponry, you should be able to use it simply by clicking the attack button. It only has so many charges, so once those are out, you begin to melee.

Aikido... that's an art wherein you use your opponent's own force against them?

Not really. I think they both can be used together.

Rune warrior is an enchantment upon yourself. It boosts your damage if I am not mistaken.

Lol, sorry I thought you already knew that if you bring up the character sheets (Equip, or stats) The game is half-way paused. All movement stops, but encounters will continue spawning. No way in hell could I take hits and stay alive while AFK .
