Help on items and direction
fgggggggHi i need some help finding the Vale of Ruin i need to complete the Hatamoto Quest. Secondly i need help finding items i look on the website and see sweet weapons but dont know how to find them particularly the Do nachi of Night and a few others but in general just how to find them. thanks.
to get in the vale of ruin you must do several things:
First I assume you have have finished The Way of the Tiger quest in Arindale and the Trial of Elders, then gone back to Fargrove for the second time, and killed Captain Okatta, Make sure to 1) talk to Lord Graemare in Bolen Fields, he'll ask you to find his son Valdane. He'll tell you to 2) see Gileah in the Fargrove Inn. She'll tell you need to 3) talk to Mara at the Shrine of Celestial Power in The Demigoth Lands and get her letter that will get you inside Skuldoon. Once inside Skuldoon 4) go see Vertugg in his fortress. He'll give you a quest to fill a vital with Valdane's blood in the Naga Temple. He'll then allow you to exit Skuldoon's southern gate. Then 5) finish the second Eastern House's second quest by killing Yagu Matasui and saving Sensei Yamamatsu in The Forbidden Lands. Then 6) while there see Staroxia in her Tower she'll give you 3 quests, and tell you to get to The Vale of Ruin you need to 7) talk to a guy back in the Demigoth Lands my the name of Grymlok. He will give you the code to take the Moon Bridge there. 8) get the quest for Hatamoto .(Make sure you explore all the conversation options then talking to all these people). Then 9) go to The Vale of Ruin and 10) kill your guy and then revisit a House of Tiger.

Best bet is to pop every chest you see once you get to Vale of Ruins, Draedoth Temple, Tomb of Souls, Naga Temple, Irynthabl Maze, etc. Anything past Naga temple is probably worth trying to open. Crystals of Time-slowing are very helpful to open the level 7, 8, and 9 chests with only like a level 7 disarm skill. Easy to open them because the time in which you have to click the correct buttons is greatly increased.
I've acquired many great items, ESPECIALLY in Draedoth and Tomb of Souls. If no where else, scower these two places thoroughly for chests(or spulchers? as theyre the "Chests" of TombOsouls).

You stare upon the perch,
The sight forces your somach's lurch.
The sight you see,
Is Death glaring back at thee.
You gave it a hum,
You let it run,
Now all you see,
Is the mirror that bleeds.

Unless, of course, you've chosen the Rogue path as one of your first tier classes. Then you'll have a 90% chance of opening a lvl 9 chest at skill lvl 9 without the need to buy a Crystal of Time.

Well I never play a rogue class so bleh
Im quite satisfied with my Fighter/Marauder Mage/battlemage/Warlock. Great defense, even better offense. Ive always been partial to Hybrids, on any game I play. Shadow knights on EQ were my favorite, Templars on Shadowbane, WC/Qor/Faren/Kraanan build on Meridian.

Rogues are pretty lame at the start in any game, but the higher you get the more badass you can become like jumping out of the shadows for a overpowering backstab for instance = 1 strike kills in other games I have played. With my Rogue/Adept/Budoka/Paladin/Ninja Lord I can still cast a few spells when needed, have great melee damage, hopefully have some great sneak/stealth/backstab type skills when the next patch comes out :\ and still open all chests in the game easily. Even a 50% chance moves slow enough that you can easily disarm any chest you run across, so if the game had higher than lvl 9 chests, I have no doubt that my Rogue could open them without resorting to magic.
