Woops, double post. But I'll use this moment to quote a previous poster.

I'm old school, I don't want cameras to move all around in my isometeric views, i don't need to zoom in. I'd be happy if fallout 3 was literally fallout 2 with new story and better graphics/slightly improved interface maybe ...

Been reading trough these posts here, and although I mostly agree with deadsanta, here is my opinion on FO3.

Okay, first of all I need to state that I haven't finished the game yet. I'm around 12 hours into the game and level 8. So I can not comment on the endgame (but from what I've read, it's not ...

As far as I can see there are a lot of posts about this game being bad for reasons that are actually showing why this society as a whole has big problems, especially the US. For example, to have such reactions about anything sexual seems completely ridiculous. Basically it all derives from the ...

NPCs (the ones you dont talk to): I hate the fact that NPC's like just normal street people all look the same. It annoys me that you see two people who look just like eachother standing right next to eachother in clubs ands such. You also get people that look emo or whatever in a place that isnt ...

As others have pointed out, kensai - thief is not that much overpowered as it might seem at first glance (refering to Celacena).

The overpowered choise is to pick kensai - mage, as the item limitations are easily ignored and you can still wear robes. You can shield yourself from harm (globe of ...

Five Flagons Inn is the one in the bridge district I recall?

Check the basement of that inn, you should find something there. The date or time should not really matter.

Edit:

I apologise for wrong information. The people you are looking for are indeed on the upper floor not the basement.

@Eadaii

As others have said, both of them can be recruited if your character posesses master skill in persuasion.
Sold your soul is definately a good way to go if you enjoy doing the goodie-two-shoes quests and want to keep your aligment evil without slaughtering a village off the coast. And ...

Third, a bard can only be proficient (*) in each weapon, while the F/M can put (**) in each, witch means faster attack, more of em , and more dmg (+2).

Fourth, a F/M has more HPs, not alot more, but still... He also has a way better THACO.

Lancelot

I'm rather certain the blade can put 2 ...

Since i haven't been to ToB yet i can only speak on SoA..and since we're in the SoA forum, heh.

So, about bards. Never played a pure bard, but trying out a Blade right now. Even somewhere in mid-game the Blade gets a unpiercable AC of ~20. Defencive spin in conjuction with the Bard armor that ...

New Asylum tests (minor spoilers)

And yet once more i started playing BG.

Anyhow, found out something rather amusing. Just as i was strolling around Spellhold, doing my favorite riddles, something totally new came up: when that apparition teleports you to the test rooms, I answered something completely different. Upon the riddle ...

Emh..you can make a fortify Intelligence/ magicka spell to get some more mp.Or brew a potion out of it. Just thought of something, not really a good idea, heh. But then you can cast one uber spell that takes 150 magicka and go with lower mana costs spells after that.

If you chose a fighter race and ...

Try going north from Larswood to find Peldvale, and north from there to find the bandit camp. Also, if you are feeling courageous, you can try going trough the farmlands north of Friendly Arm Inn..and east from there is the Bandit Camp.

If Cloackwood has already appeared in your map then you must be in the 4th chapter, right...

I suppose, you can get there from the Friendly Arm Inn, going west.

Also the place where the Bitch priestess is a grand place to level, the anchegs or whatever.

I believe that you could walk on the bridge even if not in the right chapter, then Scar or the Flaming Fist guard will come and give you a short speech of what you need to do next.

So the you can get there anyway, understood from your post that you couldn't get on it..
