NPCs (the ones you dont talk to): I hate the fact that NPC's like just normal street people all look the same. It annoys me that you see two people who look just like eachother standing right next to eachother in clubs ands such. You also get people that look emo or whatever in a place that isnt supposed to be emo-ey, or people who look like ravers in a place that isnt supposed to be ravey. One of the worst is the empire hotel... clearley a formal hotel and there are people in jeans and leather jackets in there... what the heck is that about?!?!
NPCs (the ones you do talk to): Why are the NPC's like jeanette voreman and Velvet Velour so detailed and picture perfect and others not?! I know theyre hot and generally everyone wants to look at them because theyre like serios sex godesses but why are all the other characters so incomplete and crappy looking? Its like troika thought... "Okay Guys are gonna be the main people who play this, guys like sexy girls... lets make them first" and then "phew that was hard working taking months to make Jeanette and VV, I cant be bothered with Nines, Skelter or Patty... We will just make them basic!" It really grinds my gears (as peter griffin would say)
Levels: Okay so some of the levels are AWESOME like the ocean house hotel, didnt it win an award for like the scariest level of an RPG or something, but alot of the levels lacked imagination and seemed to be all the same for instance: Mr. Ox - Go and get & Go and give. VV - Go and kill, Go and get, Go and kill. Romero - Go and kill/Go and find. Skelter - Go and kill. Then there were other levels that seemed completely pointless like: Grout - Go and find Grout, you kill all these weird gimp people and grouts all ready dead... what a waste of godamn time! Then theres Issac... What the hell is the poit in going to Ginger Swans to get an incomplete tape when we could have just gone to Ground Zero in the first place.... It seems troika couldnt think up anything original so they just filled in the blanks with pointless quests.
Characters (the ones that you play): Why oh why do they look so dull? Ive started staking out websites with skins on them because the characters we are given to play with are so BORING! Okay the Malks clothes are okay but everyone else looks so dull?
I love VTMB BUT.... *spoiler city*

There are hundreds of NPCs like that, you can't expect a company to voice them in and make them detailed and unique. Can't a hotel have visitors/ guests checking in? As far as i'm concerned, the people you lable emo or raver are free to pick where they 'hang out'.poppolulu wrote:NPCs (the ones you dont talk to): I hate the fact that NPC's like just normal street people all look the same. All the main characters are well done, as they have an impact on the storyline and a casual players tends to overlook the nonimportant bums on the street. Care to clarify why Nines and the others haven't seen that much love from Troika in your opinion?poppolulu wrote:NPCs (the ones you do talk to): Why are the NPC's like jeanette voreman and Velvet Velour so detailed and picture perfect and others not?! Any game can be reduced to go and kill, go and fetch. Ocean house? Go and fetch. There is hardly any go & kill in Bloodlines, atleast not in the main quest. And from what you say, you dont seem to like any twists and turns in the plot or any unexpectable situations. Almost any situation can be sneaked trough.poppolulu wrote:Levels: Okay so some of the levels are AWESOME like the ocean house hotel, didnt it win an award for like the scariest level of an RPG or something, but alot of the levels lacked imagination and seemed to be all the same for instance: Mr. Ox - Go and get & Go and give. Vampires don't want attention drawn to them, revealing themselves would kill the whole community...which is the basis of the game.poppolulu wrote:Characters (the ones that you play): Why oh why do they look so dull? Well the good news is that most likely there will be an MMO based on White Wolf's World of Darkness. The bad news is that it probably won't be ready until 2011 and I don't believe that you can play as a vampire.siliconsmiley wrote:Relatively small development team operating I'm sure with limited budget. Playing this makes me wish for a Vampire game based on the GTA engine. It would be amazing long-lasting fun to have a huge city as a sandbox. An MMO built around a city the size of a GTA city would be a dream come true.
