Feeling good about the assassination mission you fulfilled in the Scheduled for Execution quest, it's time to move on to Vicente's next contract. This time around, your vampiric quest-giver tells you that he's come to rely on your abilities and that you're the only member of the "family" that he envisions performing this new contract.
You won't be killing someone this time, though. Instead, you're only supposed to stage the assassination of Francois Motierre in the city of Chorrol. He owes a large sum of money to the wrong people and they've sent an enforcer to kill him. It seems that Motierre has sacrificed his own mother to the Dark Brotherhood in order to obtain assistance in staging his own death. Vicente hands you a Languorwine Knife that contains a non-lethal poison designed to mimic death and a Languorwine Antidote used to restore Motierre's health after he's been struck by the blade. You are to break into Motierre's home and cut him down in front of the enforcer so that the enforcer's employers think that he's dead.
When you arrive in Chorrol, you'll find Motierre's house near the center of the city, two doors down from the Mages Guild. Surpass the lock on the door, after which you'll encounter Motierre just inside the main door. He'll tell you that the enforcer (Hides-His-Heart) is on his way now and then explain how the job needs to be completed. Hides-His-Heart should not be killed after the staged assassination, otherwise his employers will never learn of the death. In addition, you must leave Motierre's body in the chapel undercroft for a day or so before applying the antidote.
Hides-His-Heart arrives just as Motierre said he would. Once he enters the house, slash Motierre with the poisoned blade, and then run out of the house and through the nearest city gate. This will complete the first portion of the quest, but now you must restore Motierre back to health with the antidote Vicente gave you.
After waiting a day, pay a visit to the undercroft in Chorrol's Chapel of Stendarr. You'll find Motierre lying on a slab, where you can easily apply the antidote. When he awakens, Francois will only now mention that the undercroft is cursed and that his ancestors will see his revival as a desecration. You'll need to fight his undead ancestors as you lead him out of the chapel and to the Gray Mare. Hack your way through the two zombies that block your way to the chapel's exit, then proceed to the Gray Mare to finish the contract for Motierre.
When you return to the Dark Brotherhood, Vicente is very pleased. So pleased, in fact, that he promotes you to the title of Eliminator and rewards you with the Cruelty's Heart amulet. He also hands you the Sanctuary Well Key, which will allow you quicker entrance to the sanctuary through the well behind the abandoned house.
