Mysticism Training
Quest Information
Starting Location: Bravil Mages Guild or Imperial City Arcane University
Starting NPC: Ita Rienus or Boderi Farano
Possible Reward(s): Mysticism Master Training

Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

When your Mysticism skill is less than 40, you can receive training from the following NPCs:
  • Angalmo (Chorrol Mages Guild)
  • Druja (Skingrad Mages Guild)
When your Mysticism skill is between 40 and 70, you must seek further training from the following NPCs:
  • Ita Rienus (Bravil Mages Guild)
  • Boderi Farano (Imperial City Arcane University)
Once you've learned everything you can from the second tier trainers, speak with either of them about "Training" to learn that a master trainer exists that can teach you the most advanced techniques the skill has to offer. You're referred to Dagail, one of the spellcasters at the Leyawiin Mages Guild. As a warning, though, you're told that she's a bit "odd."

If you're familiar with the Leyawiin Recommendation quest, then you'll know why some people might perceive Dagail as odd. Once you've recovered her amulet, though, she can at least form a decent sentence. When you ask her about training, she tells you that the barriers between planes are weak and that you must seal the portals to Oblivion. Of course, this can only be done if you've made it through the first few quests in the game's primary questline.

Luckily, you only have to close three Oblivion gates as opposed to all 50+ that litter Cyrodiil's landscape. Once you meet this requirement, return to Dagail and she will be happy to show you what she knows about Mysticism.
