Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

The Thieves Guild in Cyrodiil is not easy to find. In fact, there are only two ways to track it down, and neither one of these is very obvious. The first way is only available after you've taken a closer look at one of the wanted posters for the "theft, embezzlement, forgery, pickpocketing, counterfeiting, burglary, conspiracy to commit theft, grand larceny, tax evasion, slander, fraud, perfidy, and impertinence" of a man simply called the Gray Fox. The poster can be found hanging up in every district of the Imperial City, so just keep an eye out for it and you're bound to find one.

Once you find a poster, read it, then speak to the closest beggar. If you have a disposition score of 70 or higher with the beggar in question, you can inquire about the Gray Fox. They will ask, "Are you looking for him?" If you want to join the Thieves Guild, then your answer should be, "Yes. I want to work with him." The beggar will tell you to pay a visit to the Garden of Dareloth in the Imperial City Waterfront district at midnight.

This information can also be gleaned from a second route. If your thieving ways has landed you in jail, then the Thieves Guild will have sent a messenger named Myvryna Arano out to find you. If you stick to the same city for a day or two (waiting 24 hours should do it), Myvryna will track you down and hand you a "Mysterious Note." The note reads, "I can offer you greater rewards and less time in prison. If you are interested, come to the Garden of Dareloth in the Imperial City's Waterfront district at midnight. Present this note and all shall be made clear." The note will have been signed by the Gray Fox, which should give you a good indication of what it means if you've previously seen the wanted posters.

Either way, you're going to need to be in the Waterfront district at midnight, so that's our next move. The Garden of Dareloth is an unmarked clearing behind the "Abandoned Shack," which is one of the dilapitated buildings on the west side of the zone. You'll know you're in the right vicinity when two other thieves show up - an Argonian named Amusei and a woman named Methredhel. Speak with either of them to learn that they're here to join the Thieves Guild as well. Armand Christophe will show up right around midnight, and he's the guy you need to speak with to get things started.

It doesn't matter which method you used to get here, just ask Armand about the Gray Fox or show him the mysterious note to get the option of joining the Thieves Guild. When you inquire about joining, Armand will introduce himself as a follower of the Gray Fox and a doyen of the Thieves Guild. He explains that it is unusual to have three potential recruits show up at the same time, so offers a contest to determine which one of you will be inducted into the guild. This initiates the May the Best Thief Win quest.
