Armorer Training
Quest Information
Starting Location: Chorrol or Imperial City Market District
Starting NPC: Rasheda or Rohssan
Possible Reward(s): Armorer Master Training

Did we miss anything during this quest? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!

When your Armorer skill is less than 40, you can receive training from the following NPCs:
  • Tadrose Helas (Bravil Fighters Guild)
  • Eitar (Leyawiin)
When your Armorer skill is between 40 and 70, you must seek further training from the following NPCs:
  • Rasheda (Chorrol)
  • Rohssan (Imperial City Market District)
Once you've learned everything you can from the second tier trainers, speak with either of them about "Training" to learn that a master trainer exists that can teach you the most advanced techniques the skill has to offer. Either one points you to the superior armorer known as Gin-Wulm, whose love of the craft is "in his blood." You're told to look for him at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Market district, but that convincing him to train you will be "no small feat."

I actually found Gin-Wulm wandering the streets of the Market district during the afternoon hours. To determine if you're worth his time, Gin-Wulm proposes a question: "What does the name Hazadir mean to you?" If you're like me, it means nothing, which means you won't be getting the training you need... just yet. Even though he won't train you, Gin-Wulm does mention that this Hazadir character had a book written about him that it can be found at the First Edition right here in the Market district.

Stop by the First Edition and purchase a copy of The Armorer's Challenge. Not only does the book boost your Armorer skill, but it also tells you that Hazadir won the Armorer's Challenge long ago. When you return to Gin-Wulm and answer his question correctly, he tells you that Hazadir was his great-great-grandsire's sister's son and, since you know a thing or two, he'll now train you in the ways of the true Armorer.
