Anyway, I am considering using the MWSE this time around, and I'm wondering what peoples' experiences have been.
Also, I have an old machine... considering that additional scripts are being introduced, how nasty is it on the FPS?

damn... that is what I was afraid of. Unfortunately I need to be selective, and while a number of mods using MWSE look really interesting, there are other mods higher on my priority list. *sigh*
You just had to make this more painful, didn't you!fable wrote:You don't know what you're missing!Such as--
casting spells with your weapon drawn.
a book that can hold new spells, and make them available at need.
a portable hole that can be used for storage. And has an attitude.
90+ armors from mods (with permission) gathered in a single mod.
hire the Morag Tong to do an assassination for you.
capturing souls and preparing bodies to make undead.
as a vampire, drain other vampires, and gain a bit of their powers.
brew potions for offensive use in battle, using alchemy.
raise dead people with a keypress.
redecorate, moving anything in 3 dimensions.
share inventory items between games, using a simple spell.
have smarter characters open doors to pursue you.
teleport companions as well as yourself.
inventory bags.
Not a bad list of things, at all.
It's likely I'll look at reducing the quest mods first, and probably just stick with one big one, like Twin Lamps maybe... so yes, good call there.Bluesky wrote:I tend to install as few quests as possible.....I'm easily distracted...LOL:laugh:
Hah! revenge...Love seeing your lists, although it has given me the idea to add a few more to my re-install. Especially the houses.
Thanks that does help, I'll likely do a search and see if I can find the stuff on houses and textures.I did see, cannot remember where....old age maybe....might be off one of Fable's replies...conflict list maybe...a thread about the houses and textures, seems to me it had a way to resolve these issues...
Hope this helps.
