I think I got myself stuck (badass gangral in the diner)
While in the Santa Monica diner, I accidently threw a punch. Unfortunatly, it landed on the worst possible person. The guy I punched goes war form on my butt and I flee the diner. I didnt think much of it, assuming he would go back to normal later. I saved my game. However, I later went back on a whim, and got my butt handed to me. This is before going to the Ocean House hotel. I know that after I finish that mission, I'm going to have to return to the diner. Will he dissapear (due to the scripted event), or am I gonna get slaughtered the second I walk in? I'd like to know beforehand, because I really don't wanna have to go through the Ocean House hotel twice.:speech:

I think, and don't quote me... But I think, this is a glitch related to a latter character. BEHOLD, SPOILERS AHOY!!
I think if you look around the diner early in the game, you can see the NPC who is latter responsable for the horrid murders that have been going on. Assumedly, if you take a swing at him and connect, he's gonna get narcy about it... And assumedly, he is set to go to his war form and fight as soon as combat starts because they expected him to be alone in the junk yard.
Now, he DOES vanish from the diner, but I'm not sure at what stage. My suggestion would be... If your too deeply entrenched to just start again... That you push along the Muddy case and the Murder case as far as you can to see if that triggers him no longer standing in the cafe... The only porblem I might see is:
1) You can't push the case along far enough without doing other quests that require you to go back in there.
2) You can push the case as far along as you want, but the computer has recorded the emotoinal states of the people in the diner as it does with several other locations in the game... And as such, somewhere in it's programing it has "Angry Dude In War Form At Front Door" from when you last left.
Your other choice might be to see if you can do a few more main story line quests, which often re-sets areas so that things you were forced to do in them for quest acitivities don't ruin the area for you hence forth... Like when you fight the gang members in the diner, after the quest the diner is reset so you don't have to contend with cowering, screaming patrons and staff each time you go in.
Option "the last" is to cheat, buff your powers up through the roof or slap on "God Mode", take the dirty blighter down and then turn the cheats off... Hey presto, angry Grel is dust... The reason I suggest leaving this to last is it JUST might muck up the quest latter... In a good or bad way. It might grant you the EXP and Masquerade redemption on the spot as an auto trigger for killing him, but it also might mean that when the computer trys to move the NPC from the store to the scrap yard, it can't find him and has a small crying fit, leaving horrid computer tears all over your desk top.
Phew, I reckon thats about it.

Can't be done. He also has "god mode" at that point. He is an NPC that needs to be be alive later, so is unkillable at this point (trust me, I've tried, it just gets boring). Just like some of the other NPCs.Option "the last" is to cheat, buff your powers up through the roof or slap on "God Mode", take the dirty blighter down and then turn the cheats off... Hey presto, angry Grel is dust...

Ah okay, that makes sense... Should have figured that would be the case. My mistake!
EDIT: I spose you could try slapping on the "God Mode" cheat and seeing if you can just carry out business as normal in the cafe despite him slapping you around while you do it... At least, up untill the point you meet him latter and he is removed from the cafe.
