I saw some mods and also while playing,I got some ideas to modify it a bit,but I lack the knowledge of doing it myself.So,here are some ideas for a new mod...:
-First,I think this mod should be able to run with VTMB,with the same requirements.I mean,if you can play this game with no problems(eg.crashes,low framerate,etc.) so would this mod...
A)Game changes:
-cars should be upgraded to newer versions,like Mercedes,BMW,Bentley,Jeep,etc.Also,in front of clubs,there could be sport cars,like Ferrari or Porsche
-Surfside Dinner can be converted to a McDonald's or a Pizza Hut
-computers upgraded to newer versions
-the tape in Hollywood which you must retrieve for Isaac can become a DVD(looks more modern)
-there could be more pedestrian types,like drug dealers,pimps,students,etc.
-Player could evolve and this could be reflected.He or she can recieve instead of a cab,a personal limo with a driver and use it instead for travelling between areas.
B)Buying things:
-Besides the usual stuff,there could be other type of trades.
-I think clothes and jeweleries should be added for the player to buy from NPCs,since clothing stores would not fit anywere in the existing maps...
-Also,you could buy cocktails and drinks from clubs,just for fun(since as a vampire,you cannot use them),or maybe as part of seducing someone(like when offering to buy a drink for someone)
-Other stuff:laptops,ipads,mobile phones(when purchased,they can show up in the player's haven,for phones,quests can be issued via Internet,dirrectly where the player finds him/herself,like as having an Iphone or something similar with internet connection.)
C)Character creation:
-It should be more freely,allowing you to change basic things like hair colour,clothes,whether or not you wear sun glasses or regular glasses...
-The ability to write down your own story,background from before becoming a vampire
D)Editors and tools:
-An editor which would allow you to:
-create quests,by defining the NPC who issues it,the target to be slain/object to be retrieved/person to talk to,and writing the text and conversation to back it up
-add npcs by using ingame models and assigning a name and a location,and dialogue options
-making own maps reachable by taxi,edit names,create buildings
-Please,please....add Caine to the game!!It could either be an Npc,which nobody knows about and a source of information or it could be a powerful boss.Anyway,it would be cool to meet him!!

When you first meet the cab driver, use Auspex, if you have it. Or play through part of the game with a clan that has Auspex. That's one good Discipline. I won't spoil anything more on this.

There are few mods already for cars, etc. Maybe not modern, but adds real names to them, etc. But yeah, this is almost a re-write of the game. However, I think that you have some good ideas there, and contained in a decent package.
