i would like to learn how to mod this game! i have some really cool ideas that i woudl liek to see in avampire game and i was thinking maybe i could just modd bloodlines and see my ideas come to life.
i have maya and ive experimented with world building software.
is there anthing specific io need to lear in oder to mod this specific game

I don't know how to mod myself, but I would like to know what you would like to mod, and if you have Wesp's unofficial patch. The plus, when you install the patch, includes some tools to mod the game, as well. There are a few sites that have mods already. I have some, myself. But I am not sure if I can post them. If you want them, pm me for them.

You can mod VTMB and create your own adventure, but it must take place in the same locations and you must use existing character models. You can deform and reskin the existing models so that they look like new people, but the Maps themselves are harder if not impossible to edit.
If you are OK with making a mod with no spoken audio, the dialog is easy to edit. However, if you want spoken audio, things get complicated real fast as you have to synch the lips with the audio.
You can not import externally created models into the game. You CAN only deform existing models. They must have the exact same number of verticies after you are finished editing them.
You can change the objects in the maps, eliminate doors or put in new obstructions, but the hull of the map must remain untouched.
