I sat there for over an hour feeling sad that it was over
I tried to come up with words that would best describe this game for me (awesome, great, best, etc.) and since they all applied, the best way I could sum it up was "I had one h**l of a good time playing this game" and am really looking forward to playing it again maybe with a few mods added.
My favorite area was Watchers Keep. I spent over 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out the order for the switches on that damn machine, because I was not paying enough attention to the little hints I got. And I'm embarrassed to say that I fooled around with those torches for a long time before I finally noticed the colored tiles
And then to top it all off, I found out to late (had already deleted that save) that the colored globes have spells in them. Had three red ones left and when I was in Saradush, I was fooling around with one and it shot off a fire spell. Watchers Keep taught me a very important lesson (look at everything, more then once, and read everything very carefully)
The only thing I questioned was why they give you all those great weapons and items so late in the overall game. Balance I guess.
All said, when you put SoA & ToB together and play them in sequence, you could not ask for a better game with so many hours of fun. When I made my last save I had 121 game days and over 6 months real time in this game. Slow I know.
Tonight I will start on Planescape: Torment. I've heard a lot about it. So that means I'll be leaving you guys at this forum alone for a while and I'll miss you guys.
Thanks everyone for all your help with this truly great game.
