Ash's Quest, The Giovani and custom made characters *SPOILER CITY*

Post by poppolulu »

Okay first item on the agenda...

Ash Rivers! So I was in the Society of Leopald kicking some butt and found poor Ash all locked up. Its the first time I have found Ash so I thought, okay why not free the poor dude, so I spent several attempts to kill all the hunters and find the key. It took me about an hour as I spent most of my XP on social skills and mental skills rather than physical. Any how, I went to unlock him and guess how many XP points I got?! 1!!! One XP point for an hours work. Im really peed off about it and I dont think Im going to bother rescuing that idiot again, unless by some chance in a future patch the XP is more generous (hint hint :p )

Next thing...

I was thinking about the quest in the Giovani Mansion, the one where you have to dig up dirt on the 3 Giovani Family members. You have to have high persuasion to get some dirt on them, but I had persuasion of 10 and I couldnt get anything on the miserable looking guy in the corner all I could say was: "Having Fun" or something like that, Ask him about the Sarcofogas (cant spell that word  ) or say "whats your problem". I didnt get it?! Do I need intimidate or seduction to get him to talk? Also, someone was saying a while ago that you could dish dirt on all 3 of them to eachother, how does that work?

Last thing (Yay they cheer :laugh :)

Does anyone know how to make custom made characters? Im kinda bored of the normal ones I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject?

Thanks Peeps x

Just be glad you got an XP point at all because you didn't get any in the original game :) .

You need a Humanity of 5 for Christopher and there is no way to dish dirt on all of them.

If you are talking about new models and skins, you need to look around a bit e.g. at Paine's Site.

You know, I actually had you gain 2 XP at the beginning but people thought this would be too much ;) .

Well, the majority of players has a rather combat-capable character this far into the game.
While I personally usually try to stealth-kill each and every one of the hunters in the cave (which can get... interesting with, say, a Gangrel with a stealth skill of 4 ;) ), characters like a Ventrue with the good ol' fortitude-presence combo or a Tremere with maxed Thaumaturgy, Auspex and a Steyr AUG will empty that cave faster than you can say "lunchtime".
This might lead to most players not feeling this quest to be worth more than 1 XP, I guess. :)
