Raising Attributes

Post by Borodin »

Based on a chart in Gamespot's Game Guide, supposedly if I raise two of the Endurance based skills a total of 10 or more points, when I level-up I can raise my Endurance 5 points. I raised the skills Ok but only got a 3 point raise????? Apparently their chart is wrong - can anyone tell me what's right?

What skills did you level up 10 times each?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Skills

I raised Hand-to-hand 5 pts. and Blunt 7 points = 12. Shouldn't my Strength have gone up 5 ???

Okay, first problem: Hand-to-Hand and Blunt are bot Strength based skills, not Endurance based. If you want to raise Endurance, the skills that you need to raise are : Armourer, Block, and Heavy Armour.

Also remember that unlike Morrowind, in order for skill raises to affect an attribute all gains have to be made before you get the "You are ready to gain a level" message. So if you gain 5 points in Blunt and 5 in Block, and both are class skills, any further levels you gain in any skill won't count.

Aha

I think that was the problem...some of those skill gains probably came after I had reached Level Up status. Thx.

this should help in telling you what skills apply to what attributes.
