Well, yes in fact. Fox has a team of five writers (Two of which worked on "The Net"
) working on T3 right now. Production is starting next spring (Or should at least). T4 is supposed to come out 03/04. They said they would be using the same writers. Both movies will be based in the future, during the robot wars (sweet). I'm not sure yet if they will be useing Arnold again, as he his getting rather old.
Alien Vs. Predator will actually have a plot (Gasp!). From what I have learned, The Predator will be hunting the voracious Xenomorph species on, none other, LV426, 10 years after the incident of Hadleys Hope. The planet has become a military installation. Weyland Yutani, The company, set it up, hoping the alien hive ship was not destroyed, go figure it wasn't. Anyway, It follows the game a bit, in terms of locale. A team of marines is gaurding the complex, when an Alien break out happens, infesting most of them. During all this, the predator is hunting, and the marines get caught in the middle. Anyway, this movie, if produced, is generally for money making, but will draw in many fans of the series.
In other news, a Predator 3, and Aliens 5 are on the drawing boards. Not much is known of Predator 3, but Alien 5 is titled "Alien: Retribution". It takes place supposidly on the Alien homeworld, when a large army of Humans land, trying to wipe the threat out once and for all. Sigourny Weaver will not be taking a full lead in this one, as she has had enough. But, their is talk of a returning Lance Henrikson (The Bishop Android) in this, the same with the actor who played Hicks (As an older model Android) It should be rather interesting.
