Because most of the sorc items on the server sucks bigtime. Getting a bard belt makes me immune to half the spells a mage can cast :D This is just for pure cheesyness.

@juni: You aren't seriously copnsidering staying under a bridge, all the homeless people and diseases*shudders*. You should come with me, I have a nice little mansion just around the corner where it's warm and cozy and housecleaning. I also have a jacuzzi ;)
