Some people was talking about Nines training and such but from what I have read it seems like people dont know about this interesting bug...
Whenever a npc like nines, the graveyard caretaker and others is about to train you, you can actually spend XP to up your skills, displines or whatever they are training to one steb before max and when they are done talking you will get a skill point in the last steb
When they agreed to teach you they will talk about how to get better at shooting or whatever before they finish their little talk you havnt actually gotten your skill point so just press "C" and spend your XP to up it up to level 4 so the point they give you is actually 5!
Of coz in some cases you dont want to do it... if you are planing to get good research skill then brawl level 3 from nines is cheaper in XP for you if you can read the level 4 book on brawl...
Yep, this is useful, thanks for posting, but there's a problem. It doesn't work in all the situations, at Nines's example if you have more than 3 point at Brawl Skill he will teach you nothin', 'cause he'll say you already know the basics and he doesn't have enought time to teach more than the basics...

daEhm... Guess I didnt explain very well... You got 2 in brawl... you talk to nines.. he saids yeah I can help you and start talking about training up your skill... BEFORE he stops teaching you press C then increase your brawl level from 2 to 4.. and when he is done teaching you you got level 5
