Well, I have another Freeze bug.
After I left LaCroix with instructions to offer an alliance with the Anarchs, Beckett yells, "Wait!" to me as I am walking down the street.
From reading the walkthroughs, he wants to talk to me about the Sarcophagus.
Unfortunately for me, after Beckett asks me to wait, it just freezes my character in the middle of the street, blocks access to Disciplines or weapons, and nothing happens. No Beckett, no movement possible for me -- although the NPCs keep walking around near me.
Anyone know how to either
1.) Somehow skip this conversation so I can move again or
2.) Get Beckett to behave as he is supposed to?
It's annoying to be this close to the end, only to find a bug prevents me from finishing.

There's no way to avoid this encounter with Beckett. There's a possibility you're simply moving too fast for him to catch you. However, it still causes you be immobilized. Try moving real slow (even wait a few seconds) when you come out of the Last Round, and see if that helps.
Same thing happened to me and I asked about it here as well and it was suggested to me to walk that street so he could catch up instead of run like I always do.
Of course I found this out later. I got around the bug as I thought it was by going through the sewers.
So you can avoid the encounter entirely by taking the sewers? Interesting. So I guess you'd take the back way out of the Last Round?

Same thing happens to me, just about every time. I save just before, then try walking slowly, walking on different sides of the street, in the middle of the street, etc. Beckett comes out of the alley just behind you so I think it also helps to make sure all the pedestrians are out of the way so he doesn't get stuck. It may also help to make sure all the pedestrians are out of the area period.
Even then, though, I sometimes have to reload a few times. Eventually it works. Getting so I hate hearing him say "Wait!"

Yeah you can skip the whole thing by going through the sewers. Find the closest one to the tower and drop in and then pop up by the The Last Round. Just remember to take the same way out when heading to the park cause Beckett will try to talk to you going either direction.
And yeah pedestrians are pretty dumb, two of them got stuck beside eachother near a doorway I needed to get into so I set myself off way down the street out of sight and fired at one of them hoping they would duck and run or something... They didn't and just stood there. So I killed the one and the other ran off screaming... cost me a humanity point but those two had been stuck there since the first time I showed up Downtown and where still there when I came back after doing pretty much everything in Hollywood. All on the same street near the alley Beckett comes from.

I haven't gotten to the Last Round or Drop or whatever yet - he accosts me on the way there and stops me dead.
I never actually see him, though, just hear him say "Wait!..."
I haven't been running around with Celerity or anything, and I was thinking maybe it was a collision issue, so I have been walking smack in the middle of the street.
Maybe I'll just kill all the pedestrians and see if that clears up the problem, though I guess the sewer might offer a way to skip this scene and keep my Humanity. I haven't seen much evidence that Humanity has much of an effect in the game to be honest. I've Frenzied exactly once, and that was because I misclicked and spent all of my Blood.
