Dear Americans (Excluding the Southwest)

Today/tonight while you are celebrating with fireworks, please think before you act.

Don't let the 4th of July be the day you remember losing a finger or eye.

Good post Weasel :)

On a lighter note, I felt I should share an amusing conversation I had with my six year old today. He was reading a party invitation he received and asked if it was this Saturday. I asked him what date was on the invite and he replied August. I then asked him if he knew the date today, and after a moment of consideration he replied July 4th. I then happened to mention to him that this was a big day in the US (since he is starting to take a big interest now in the outside world...though I am getting tired with him asking 'what is French for' or 'How do Australians say...' Anyway, he wanted to know why it was a big day that they would get fireworks in the summer and not in November as we do. When I explained he became very sullen. I asked him what was wrong and his response was 'Well we will never rule the world now!!' :D :D

Happy July 4th :)

My mam brought me up to hate the Soviet Union - maybe Orcs is a healthier outlet. ;)

LOL! :D but a barbarian wizard?? *sigh* he is too hack and slash for a mage, but likes his spells. NwN has offered him a compromise and he has exploited it :D

Good career move. Few orcs carry Kalashnikovs. :D ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Happy 4th of July...

...to all you Americans out there. :)

BTW, why the exclusion of the Southwesterners?

@Ysh: You must be a proud mother! :D Image

...that this year was good to you... :D Do you still have all 10 fingers?

How was the BBQ and all those All-American grub you eat on ID?

Sorry about the SWers, I guess they have to celebrate with less flamin' stuff. :(

Yes all ten fingers still intact. :D (Minor burn to some areas don't count  )

Since I don't drink...don't like BBQ that much..my sister (Yes I crashed my sisters house for the 4th :D ) cooked steaks on the grille and made my favorite..Tea. :) :) I took the time to experiment with some bottle rockets..(12 at one time..long fuse)

So I call it a success. :)

(I did wait around and make sure no fires started up afterwards.)

Weasel, I can't believe it...

... you too, like Fas, are on tea?!!!

You don't drink? Really? :D

Bottle rockets, huh? 12 at a time? Who was the lucky target of your pyro-pleasure? :D

I'm glad too that things were still safe for everyone. :)

EDIT- Your sister must have truly loved you. :D

The real question is: Can you still count to 21?
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.
