Re Wraithlord. Just out of interest, he said he had an illegitimate copy, but he was sending off for a replacement...I wonder, could this 'illegitimate' copy have been copied from his own disk as a backup? - this is legal is it not? If not, then I agree - reading the few rules we have would have prevented his banning.

I don't follow you. I mean, he admited it wasn't a legal copy that he had: he said this. And he could have gotten a replacement from his friendly mom and pop warez site for that single messed up disk.

He said that he was ordering a replacement, which is a bit ambiguous. It could mean he is just buying the game again, or it could mean that he is ordering the free replacemnet that you are entitled to with the guarentee, which would imply that he had an official copy...and he did just say that he had 'copied disc', not neccesarily pirate. I could copy my BG disc right now if I wanted, and wouldn't be breaking the law...anyway, he was new, and will doubtless find another forum...I don't think it was a great loss for us or him, and I'm sure we'll get over it soon enough...

@Witch King: As I've said, piracy IS thievery!

The guy said that he had a wrong cd, and so he ordered a replacement, and he said he wouldn't have come here for a while.
Then came his second post, and I assumed he got a copy to keep playing.

What I meant:
He said something that made him BANNABLE, but maybe he's not
a real, or an "entire" thief, as at least he payed ONCE for the game (if my interpretation is right).
While some people (the "entire" thieves) play without paying a single cent.

Just wanted to note this, but I've caused more trouble than I wanted, so, again, sorry!

@Littiz, Wraithlord didn't say he had the wrong disk. He said he had an illegal (or non-legitimate) disk. If he feels wronged, I'm sure he can explain things to Buck, and get himself reinstated.
