Why is it that every movie that has something like "Matrix meets Deep Rising" as a promo/advertisment is appaling?
So i thought i would create a thread where we put together the worst film promo's we can, so here goes:
Silent Running meets Terminator
2001 meets The Ten Commandments
Pokemon meets Gone with the Wind
Any takers?

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,

@fable: Don't forget...
Gruntboy meets Ubik. I'm not sure if this works as a promo/advertisement, though....
I think When Saigo met Foul is the best I've ever seen.
Oh, that's a movie title. Sorry.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

LOL @sleep..good thread. the Oxford music magazine NightShift has a similar habit, but with 'meets' replaced with more interseting verbs. It would not be surprising to find a band reviewd as sounding like David Bowie eating Iggy Pop's brains of a plate made of the crushed vocal chords of the surviving members of T-Rex. Or something.
anyway, how about Sleeping Beauty meets Sleepy Hollow?
