What will your future be like?

Post by AbysmalNature »

Well yours truly the most Abysmal of nature's, the truely SLURRIng depressive maniac is now happy, life is good, the future is bright and dark and good and bad, and stormy and sunny. It looks like this social misfit will no longer be such a social misfit, oh well at least that is what I hope, might just be the sun to destroy my happy stormcloud.

I asked a girl out, made a few friends and one that I can even trust, which is something really new for me, you know trusting people, I am doing well at school, my grades are good, it looks like my family is even becoming a little more insane, it looks like all the years of screwups are finally becoming right, all the years the universe has been out to get me, now it has finally given up.

I am sorry to have such a good mood, but what will your future be like, does it look bright as anything or depending on your nature dark as anything?

Oh well as one of my favorite bands Yes says in one of their songs it will be a good day.

*AN drives in a truck full of beer, just barely missing a old lady who curses wildly at him, then he crashes through the wall which separates normal space from SYM space and spills beer all over the place. Getting out he pops a cap and says,"Come one come all fellow SYMers, because finally this cheap bastard is paying for the beer." :) :) :) :)
I care not for endings or beginnings, but for the eternal and infinite spaces of the universe, and for the endless exploration of eternity, and mysteries which I will find plumbing the infinite depths.

"Do not turn inward to find peace and wisdom, turn outward instead to find liberation from the narrow boundaries of self", quote from Gary Paul Nabhan, paraphrased of course

"When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong" quote from Arthur C. Clarke, thought it was interesting.

Tips on living longer: eat right, exercise, and yes castrate yourself, eunuchs live longer then normal people.

*ahem* When I was just a little girl (k, Im a guy, whatever)
I ask my mother, what will I be?
Will I be pretty?
Will I be rich?
Heres what she said to me.
Ca cera, cera.
Whatever will be will be.
The futures not ours to see,
Ca cera, cera

Thats for you ned!

Congrats AN on a good life for the present.
Mines not so good, my ex is being a real ***** to me, but I have awesome friends, so its all good!
Good ol free beer!

Hey fable/buck/other mods, whats the legal drinking age in SYM?
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

I'm happy to hear you are doing well and feeling good :) You shouldn't be sorry for being happy - life has ups and downs for everybody and people who can't take that others are happy are just narrow-minded.

I'm happy too, but I'm generally a happy personality type. I used to have really steep mood swings as a teenager, but it changed and stayed on the top when I was about 20, so now I'm mostly hypomaniac :) :D

My future looks bright, I can't see single dark cloud at my personal sky :)

This escapes me for some reason. care to elaborate.

@AN,

glad the worm has turned for you.
Yes is an excellent band that consistently brimmed with too much talent. Take a look at all of the members over the years and see where else they've been.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

It's a song, with the message: don't worry about the future, what happens, happens anyway sort of.

Well my imminent future is to sleep a few hours before I go to work. :D

A trusted aide to a US Congressman, or Senator, a member of a Republican political action committee, or a correspondent to a Washington newspaper. The world is my oyster!

... Right now, though, my immediate future is to finish Half-Life. Great game, by the way. :)

I know, but why was I named specifically. I know the tune but I can't place it, and yes, I know what it means. I am only questioning who is the artist and why is it for me.

In the directly foreseeable future, I foresee my friend mock-fussing at me for constantly flirting with her. :o :D
