has anyone noticed that monks can use katanas (believe me they can, ive started bg2 over from the beginning with a monk and he was able to equip the katana from the first stash of weapons you can get) but cant get proficient with them? wots up with that? is it just a bug or something or is something wrong with my fully patched version?
Katanas have their own proficiency class.
Are the smaller katanas (ninja-to or Wakizaky) that are in the same class of scimitars ... and thus druids cant use them (???)
nah u guyz got it all wrong im not talkin about scimitars n ninja tos. im on about the fact that although monks cant become proficient with katanas my monk was able to actually equip one. not a ninja to or woteva, but an actual non magical katana. ne answers?
Monks can become proficient with any thief weapon excluding two handed ones.So they can have a slot in Katana altough I don't think that they need it...
Monks can also wear armour, but no one is complaining!
Sorcery and Shadow together as one, the arcane and the dark united. Through our knowledge and skill none can stand against us. We are as one, infallible and invincible. The Shadow Mages.
Jez, why would a monk want a katana! Having to carry around a sword in one hand would seriously imped ones ability to "go kung fu on yo fu a$$".
Man, I'm chipper.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.
