Monkfistquestion
The monk's fist deals 1-20 damage and is considered a +4 weapon in the end. Does the +4 appear to damage as to the THACO, making the fists deal 1-24?

The +4 is the enchantment of your fist - meaning you can hit monsters that need +4 or lower enchantment to hit - it does not change the amount of damage you deal out, so it remain at 1-20. I don't think it appear on the THAC0 either, enchantment doesn't always mean better THAC0 or damage, it just allow you to hit monsters that need that certain level to hit.

I know for a fact that in the case of monks the thaco and damage bonus is the same as the enchantment. Meaning that it does 1d20+4 when they are enchanted to hit +4.
This is not the case with all weapons ofcourse but with their fists it is.
Easy to see if you watch you thac0 before and after a level up where the enchantment went up.
You can also see it if you look at the fists with infinity explorer.

You can't handle the truth!
Does it really matter? 1d20! Thats huge. There isnt a weapon in the game that does that much damage. Not even with bonuses. Find me any other class of char that can have these stats

Flail of Ages +5 does 17-22 damage per hit, 2,5 times per round, and you can dual wield (Belm +2, anyone?) and cast Haste or Improved Haste on top of that. I don't see how any Monk tops that.
