Why should I accept anything less than unconditional condemnation for this horrific act? No ifs or buts. There is no excuse for it, terror attacks on civilians cannot be justified. Terror must be stopped.

I myself cannot think of any reason.
As for your experience..I'm not good with words. But I will support you anyway I can.
I would say cheer up..but I believe it will be a while before anyone is cheerful.

Grunty, I know how you feel. I lost three family members that day. I went to the services for the Firemen. I had two cousins who were Firemen, who died on that day. I walked ground zero, with another cousin who is a Fireman. Out of everything I have seen, that will be something, that I will never forget. Sight or Smell.

I sit here re-reading this and it doesn't express one tenth of the way I feel.</STRONG>
Michael; I agree. "No ifs or buts." Amen, brother.
Grunt, *hug* I'm sorry you had to be there
I feel for you and your brother, and for everyone personally affected. If you need a friendly ear, you know my email

I am moved by your description of the events and anything i say can't help you feel any better.
The act is not justifiable and should not be.
I don't want to turn this into another thread where we argue the issues.

@Grunt: I'm very sad you and your brother had to experience this. Thank you for sharing with us. *hug*
Personally, I have been lucky enough never to witness a catastrophy on this scale, but you know I'm here if you wish an ear.

Yes, I think Fas meant precisly that, that he was not going to debate here.

Exactly
I didn't want to comment further as there is no way i can say anything that would change what has happened.
Or the pain that Grunt had to go through.
Saying anything else by me - in my opinion - would have been fake and trivializing what happened.

Grunty,The invitation stands. You hang in there,as for the nightmares, the'll last for years, but you know, that's how we become stronger and tougher, that is what separates us from fanatics and psychos.
It was a truly awful day - i hope that both you Grunt and Darkpoet are coping as well as you can.
My sincere condolences to you Darkpoet for the loss of your family members.
Grunt you said that you have nightmares. If they continue or you feel depressed maybe you should consider talking to a counsellor though all of us here at gamebanshee will support you as best we can. I don’t know a lot about that kind of thing but I don’t think you should underestimate the long-term effects of shock and bereavement. I am sure CE can give you better advice on this though.
The very best to both of you.
I didn't really bounce Eeyore. I had a cough, and I happened to be behind Eeyore, and I said "Grrrr-oppp-ptschschschz."
@Grunt, @DP, I'd hug you both if you wouldn't retch. In any case, you have my genuine condolences.
