OK, I've seen a thread or two about this, but none that have helped, so I try one of my own.
The problem is the Model Citizen quest from Imalia. As soon as I enter Tawni's appartment, my log says I've failed the quest. I've tried several times, it's always the same. The first time the sneak bar was at about 90%, and last time at 60% - and it was green! Still, I failed.
What do I do? I play with Brujah, with a sneak ability of 5, 7 with blood buff which I activate before entering (being crouched of course). I've done this quest before, it's this time it won't work.
Model Citizen- fail when entering!
A couple of things doing this thing. First remember sight lines, if you can see them, they can see you. Use walls, couches, beds, etc. for cover. Second, the slower the better. Last, but not not least, if all else fails, cheat.
"People should not be afraid of their governments, the government should be afraid of it's people." V from the movie V for Vendetta
Is your game patched and if so, with which patches? There is a known bug where if you enter the building before accepting the quest then you can fail the quest automatically once you have the quest and try to complete it. It happened to me the first time I played. I'm not sure but I think one of Wesp's patches fixed this, but I just avoid entering that building before having the quest now.

I know is not a first choice, I don't like to cheat unless I am just messing around for fun. But just to get past this quest try opening the console and typing in notarget. This makes you invisible to your "enemies" but somehow not zombies or the warewolf -__- Maybe this is a temporary fix?
note that it is also fun to watch when messing around with it in a combat zone, you can punch someone that stands still and you get a bunch of guys looking around saying "is someone there?" Best part is that whether you are messing with cops or with a sabbat they always have the same reaction and voice.
