Can't open the Synco Gasoline Gate!

Post by Inf3ctedDoll »

I've completed all the quests in Santa Monica (I didn't activate only the Carnival of Death- all in all that's a side quest and I don't want to have a fight with werewolves), I've convinced Therese and Jeanette to coexist but the gate to Tung is still locked!

I play with female Toreador, I've completed replanting a Lily quest (evil, hehe), I've unofficial patch 5.9 installed, god mode on and few extra points of experience (I just couldn't stop myself!)- I hope it will help

Did you continue an older saved game after patching? In that case use noclip to move through the gate...

I'm not going to spoil anything, but you should look into the Carnival of Death quest. However, that's not stopping you from going to see Tung. Do you have the astrolite, and also talked at least one sister into helping you meet with Tung, and finished all the other quests out there, for Santa Monica? Check your quest log, there might be something unfinished, or even you might not have done something, check everywhere. Did you go into the medical center, through the front doors, at least once? And are you using a FAQ to help you with the game? That may help a bit more, as well.

I'm glad you were able to get it to work. I'd reiterate Sir Twist's advice. Do not skip the Carnival of Death quest. You can do it after visiting Tung or at a later juncture in the game, period. However, it's very worthwhile.

There are several key elements to even getting to Tung. However, there is a few key places to remember, in Santa Monice. The apartments above/behind the Pawn Shop, then the building next to it, the medical clinic, the pawn shop itself, tattoo parlor, the Gallery Noir, Parking Garage, Foxy Boxes, Diner, the bounty hunter's office, the rusted out oil tank, the junkyard, and Megahurtz Computers. Some places aren't opened to you, at first, as they come later in the game. Somethings you can't get into, right away, either. However, blood buff helps with quite a few things, but not everything. The things blood buff won't get you, persuasion/seduction will.
