Keys disappear... help

Post by ManMadeGod »

Hello,

I just found my Bloodlines save file is messed up.
Because of the history I chose bothered me a lot, I decided to reset it.
So I ran the console mode and use "vhistory none" command.
But it's too late for me to know that it causes all keys disappear from my keyring.

Is it possible to generate keys in console mode?

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Edit: I play VTMB with the official patch 1.2

You can give yourself any key you need using the console, but you have to know the exact name. The command is "give item_k_keyname".

I'm not sure what vitems is, as a command. I know vstats and vclan are commands, but the code I usually use for items is give.

Like "give item_g_lockpick" will give you a lockpick.

give item_k_keyname definitely works. For example, give item_k_empire_jezebel_key gives you the key to Jezebel's suite. They're not listed, tho', so you'll have to figure out/find the keynames without help from the console.

It works, but i still have one key missed and I can't find what's its label.
It is "Luckee Star Room Key".
I tried
give item_k_luckee_star_room_key
give item_k_luckee_star_key
give item_k_luck_star_room_key
give item_k_luck_e_star_motel_key
...
and some more...

I just can't find it.
And Luckee Star Motel is an important point of the story.

You probably need the "item_k_lucky_star_murder_key". If you use the unofficial patch you will find all item files and their names in the vdata/items directory.
