Could you send me a screenshot of this advertisement, Foss? UGO doesn't seem to be familiar with it and they're concerned that it's malware-related or something. I haven't seen it myself, so I can't say one way or another.

Thanks!

Thanks Buck. I have sent the screenshot file to your gamebanshee ...

Thought it would be best to use this thread.

In the last few days I sometimes experience that my browser automatically change page to this below me when I go onto the main page of Gamebanshee:
This is one of them.

So, I go to GameBanshee and then a second after it switches to a white page with ...

Jaheira romance & quest (Spoiler)

I just reached Suldanessellar, and have had Jaheira in my party the whole time.

And in the beginning we had alot of small talk though never seemed to get beyond that, and she haven't talked to me in along time now. Not sure if I have screwed the romance up somehow.

2ndly, I haven't experienced ...

Had the same problem yesterday, was driving me nuts :)

Expecially because Phaere specifically recommend you to use a stealthy approach and not kill anyone.

To me it does seem like a mistake that everyone goes hostile, though none actually sees you stealth in and swap the eggs.

Just wanted to hear if anyone knew if the XP cap of 2.8 mill or so in BG2 is removed if you have ToB installed aswell.

Hmm, old thread though only one that came up when I googled for it :)

Have the same problem. Finam brushes me off though I have his book. I have already learned the language from the ashes and read the Dodecahedron.

Got the official patch and the fixpatch.

Only thing I think can be the problem ...

The Dunwich Building its called.
Think its a reference to a H. P. Lovecraft short story called The Dunwich Horror.

Necronomicon is a book mentioned in some of Lovecraft's stories including The Dunwich Horror.

The more I play F3 the more I like it.

In the beginning I wasen't sure if it would be another Oblivion with no real depth. But I really think they have done so much more out of the RPG elements compared to Oblivion.

I think they get alot out of the SPECIAL system and your skills when it comes to ...

Hmm, one thing I forgot to mention aswell, though which I am not sure is 100% correct but from what I remember it looked like it. Is the Charm/Intimidate feature in the dialog.

That, there was no way to fail at Charm or Intimidate, since if you would fail you wouldn't be able to choose the answer ...

It is a bug it seems that several people have.

There is a thread on the official forums about it, though at this point no solution has been found:

That makes me wonder at the direction BioWare is moving, farther and farther departing from RPG genre towards hollow action clothed in flashy graphics. From BG to KOTOR to NWN to ME to Alpha Protocol. I don't hold high expectation for any of their games any more.

Isen't Alpha Protocol being made ...

To add a bit to the above post.

At a role playing impression it wasen't particular a good RPG.
I didn't feel there was much you could do through dialog. Dialog was a way to enhance or add to the story but it didn't feel like you could change much through it, except the Charm/Intimidate feature ...

I just finished ME on PC.

And I must say I really enjoyed it. Though there were several low points during the game.

One thing though which most likely influenced my experience was that I had relatively low expectations to the game, as most of what I had read and seen involved tactical combat which ...

Got a bug in "And Her Name Was Venus" quest, "spoiler"

Will post this in black text:

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but in the misq quest "And Her Name Was Venus" in Downtown, where you need to persuade a russian mobster to stop bothering a club owner named Venus.
Basicly you just need to kill Boris in the hotel.
The problem I have is ...

Well, first of all its in Zul'aman, a 10 man raid, so you need to get 10 man to go in there.
The NPC you need to find, is in a hut on the way to the Lynx boss, the one in the upper left corner.
You need to cross the bridge in the middle of the instance, that connects the southern and northern part ...

The best RPGs I have played would be Fallout 1 & 2 and PS:T.

Story, choices and well written dialog are the things I enjoy the most, and those games are very good on those fields.
I love the Fallout scenario and the freedom and choices you have there. Great writing too, love the humor.
And I like ...
