If you have the lockpicks, Virgil doesn't need a second set.

i had it happen too, but i just reloaded and did it a bunch of times until it worked (same thing with ressing virgil!). its definitely worth it if you want the mega bonuses, which make the rest of the game pretty easy.

Well, I was kinda disappointed since my character didn't need the bonuses ...

I have to start ToEE for the first time. Should I use the Co8 5.0 mod? What do you suggest?

I just did this part yesterday night and, despite having 83% tech, I noticed nothing wrong since the spell worked first time... Maybe you're over 83%?

I just started playing BG as the localized Italian version. I wonder if there is the possibility to disable the Italian translation and somewhat revert to English (like it was possible, say, in Dungeon Siege), without having to own the English version itself.

Just installed and I am overwhelmed by good old Ultima smell...
As an old hardcore fan (played Ultima III, IV, VI, VII (both), VIII, the two Underworld, and the two Worlds of) I find it wonderful to have a chance to play Ultima V, the one that I missed at the time!

I am pretty sure that the problem is in the fact that you interrupted the conversation with the captain. You interrupted and managed to stay on the isle, but triggered anyway the script that makes the captain only answer you like that, as he does when you indeed go back to mainland. I fear your only ...

In the end it looks like I am a bit underequipped...
I only have a fine revolver and a leather armor, and my buddies hand-to hand weapons and leather armor too!
