Henchmen are hard coded to level cap at 14.

Average level at finish is 15 with the recent patches that fixed experience rewards. Pure casters and rogues receive more experience for monster kills, and will typically be level 16-17 at the end.

Before the patches, you were 20 at the end of chapter 3.

Remember, the last chance you have to come back to finish battle squares is before going to Kuldahar. You will likely be level 13-15 at the time, depending on your party composition.

Note that if Nathaniel call you on your favor, you WILL have a chance to revisit the temple...but battle squares ...

There's two other ways...

1. If you have a high intelligence character, he will know the name automatically.

2. You don't have to know its name. Simply kill every aurilite in the place. You can then tell the demon you've done so, and he'll go nuts.

1. Step in the shadow, then open the SIDE door to the outside, and then use the lightning machine on the shadow door.

2. More lightning for the mirror room.

3. One of the painting options takes you there, but only after you've finished the rest of the level.

1. Click on the doors and it tells you the combination!

2. You have to open the shadow door from inside that room. Go in via the painting portal.

Lightning marked doors can all be opened by shooting the lightning generator in the appropriate direction (One of these require that you realign a ...

Well since it takes a ritual to summon the Guardian (all those whatchamacallits have to be placed), and since you've been repeatedly warned the the Guardian is some sort of incredibly powerful creature, it is unhighly unlikely that you'd "accidentally" summon him. =)

Not necessarily. But...

Funny thing, when you rip a heart out of someone's body, they seem to become undead with some sort of homing device that takes them right to their heart. I also imagine that they'd be pretty angry with those who ripped out their hearts as well...

If and when they actually ...

What are the best bought items throughout IWD2?

I'm starting chapter three and I have about 308,498GP, which in my estimation is quite a lot of money for your average adventurers. (This is mostly from the sale of ammunition that was really cluttering up my inventory...arrows of stunning +1 sells for 30k a stack, and Flaming Darts +5 sells for ...

Starting level is 1

The max level in IWD2 is 30, which can only be reached if you take your final party from normal mode (around level 16-18) through the entire game again in Heart of Fury mode.

There's certainly a number of spells to boost your combat effectiveness. My favorites are Shield of Protection, Agility of Fire, Haste, and Strength of Stone. Temporal Fugit is also tremendously useful, if rather draining unless you are a Temporal master. Of course, you'd want 100% magic aptitute if ...

You can switch to "fast turn-based combat" in the options menu. It's the same as turn-based but monsters just appear and disappear instead of showing the movement animation...a but wierd but certainly speeds things up.

The top five NPC's I think are:

1) Worthless Mutt (Dog)
2) Chukka
3) Sogg
4) Gar
5) Loghaire

Obviously, I lean heavily towards melee types...but then again, what else are NPC's good for? :p

It is impossible to train NPC's unless you have the educator background, in which case training is automatic.
