I am not sure about the moon ship, but I just put B. Bart back into his grave again. Hopefully for good this time. I don't think there was any great treasure though.

Edit: I just went back to the freedom isles and raised the moon ghost ship. Nothing great loot-wise though.

Priest horde?

Hey guys.

I just recently started playing KB and having some troubles dealing with the limited resupply of troops. I am around L15 and working on the dwarf lands now.

My priests seem to be a favourite target lately so I was wondering if and when the priest stacks will convert into a horde (I am ...

Torches can be found all over the place, just open every barrel etc.

For the cat potion you need the formula, and then the ingredients you might need some books first to be able to recognize the plants.

If you do not have the formula, you can mix the ingredients according to the walkthrough, that ...

I had the same problem. I had to go back to the cave, click the box again or something to pick up a whole case, then at the site, I got a cutscene. So my advice, go back to the cave :)

Hope that helps.

It may very well increase the drops.

In skills, luck increases the skill level for certain actions. 50 luck would be neutral, 100 luck would be +20. However the skill would not go above 100.

In drops, I can imagine that luck would affect your level (as drops are affected by your level).

redwort flowers and dragon tongue, 20 of each.

I had a hard time finding them. Some vendors sell one or two, so you're best bet is in the wilderness.

Good luck.

You do not need a soul trap spell for creating spells. You only need those for enchanting.

If you have a spell of open lock (any grade) you should be able to create a stronger version of it. Note that I have not tried myself, but I think it would work.

And remember that your magicka is 2 x intelligence (aside from any race bonus etc).

I do not know if boosting your intelligence through potions increases your magicka too.

With a mage type character I would choose intelligence and willpower to be favored attributes, as the related skills increase more quickly.

Also, the Atronach is an interesting, yet difficult birthsign to play.

You'll need to do contract for other fighters guilds. Try cheydinhal (sp?) and anvil. You will have to travel back and forth a few times.

Hello,

Instead of doing more experiments myelf, I found a wiki that lists the formulas I was looking for. Here is the link.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Spell_Making

Short summary:

Casting cost = Base cost * (1.4 - (skill * 0.012))

A note on the skill, apparantly luck modifies the skill ...

There are alchemy trainers in the various mages guilds.
- Low level : Anvil + Leyawiin
- Mid level : Bravil

The higher levels (70+) can only be trained by a master which you need to be referred to.

Spell casting cost

Triggered by Kingslakes post about gaining hitpoints, I've decided to start investigating the casting cost for spells.

As most of you know, the cost for a particular spell goes down as you increase in skill in the associated magic school. The question however is how much?

See post below.

Yup, 85 is the maximum, doesn't matter if you're wearing light or heavy 85 is the max.

That does not mean you should not wear more. In combat the armour will degrade, so if your base is higher than 85, it will stay at 85 a little while longer while it degrades.
