My strength has been reduced to 6 by the deck of many things in Watcher's Keep. I'm a fighter, and now I can't wear armour or do very much useful stuff.

Is this irreversible as it says in the deck instructions, or can I do something about it?

I've been chatting up Viconia all through the game, even though she can be a real pain in the ass at times.

Somebody put this tip up somewhere else, but as soon as he transforms into the demi-lich skull thing, transform yourself into the slayer. That gives him a surprise. Don't forget to transform back to a human as soon as you can though. It's only 2 rep points, which is just a couple of thousand coins ...

I had the same thing and it drove me mad, running about like a coward to try and lock the buggers in a room.

Anyway, I quitted, reloaded the game and next time it was fine, they went down like the rest. Got to be a bug.

I had a a go at him last night with a level 12 party of Vic, Jaheria, Nalia and a fighter (me).

Just summon everything you've got (but hold them back for the first couple of rounds, otherwise he death spells the lot straight away). Bless, chant, stoneskin, haste, potion up etc etc.

It's not glamourous, but it does the job.

Whenever I type anything in BGII, such as my name, the text comes out backwards, ie Thane comes out enahT.

This isn't such a problem in single player, but it's a killer for multiplayer. I have to play half-orc and pretend that I'm speaking in tongue. But that gets people annoyed.

Chaotic Neutral Fighter (can't remember which kit, I'm a basic set d&der at heart). The problem is though, is that down in the dungeon beneath the beholder cult, I get ambushed by shadows and the like from all sides, which means there is no where to escape to.

You can buy restoration scrolls - ahhhh. I may be a top door bashing skull crushing warrior, who may one day be King of Caledonia, but I'm none to clever at times.

Well, that's a problem with most of the characters really. Jaheria is the only character that I really like, maybe because I associate fantasy settings with european accents and, without being offensive to my yankee brethren, the american accents feel a bit too much like 1950's hollywood camelot ...
