Two Worlds Reviews

GameZone and CVG have both weighed in with their own reviews of SouthPeak Interactive and Reality Pump's Two Worlds. The review at GameZone hands the Collector's Edition a score of 7.0/10:
Mayhap it's the Oblivion fan in me that feels that no similar RPG can compete with it but this game makes a worthwhile attempt that gives gamers enough to see and do. Two Worlds: Collector's Edition aims high and delivers a flawed yet decent role-playing game that is lengthy and occasionally fun. If you're a devoted fan of open-world RPGS, a deep story and customizing your character anyway you like then you might just want to consider buying the Collector's Edition.

While the review at CVG hands the game a score of 7.3/10:
Two Worlds isn't a masterpiece, but it is entertaining. It's deep - the side quests massively outweigh the main game, and what you can get up to with items is nearly as interesting as what you can do in Oblivion.

Just as with Bethesda's monster, you can lose happy hours tinkering with the way things work. Sadly, it's also pretty flawed, and the freeform approach is hindered by a world that's both underpopulated and underfeatured. It's easy to appreciate and enjoy, but difficult to love.

The Oblivion references are getting really, really old.
