Developers at Games Conference 2007, Part Two

RPG Vault has kicked up the second portion of their series offering feedback from developers who plan on having a presence at this year's Leipzig Games Convention. Funcom's Jorgen Tharaldsen on Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures:
I'm really looking forward to Leipzig this year, especially because E3 was a letdown since the format meant I wasn't able to see other games. I hope I'll at least get to play the MMOs plus other titles I'm anticipating. I've heard rumours about 200,000 people, so I'm unsure how much testing will be possible. Last year, the floor felt like everyone had a "penguin walk" since it was so insanely packed, so it should be interesting just getting from A to B. Personally, I'll be working with and demoing Age of Conan to the press and partners; that's the key focus for me.

We've really put a lot of punch into the stand, content and entire set-up, so I hope it will be a success. I know we're up against stiff competition, but hope what we have will set us apart. That's the plan at least. ;) We have even built an entire fort where people can play the game on the floor, and as fitting for a Conan game, we have some sexy babes. :) In addition, as always, there are many other meetings and general stuff, so I think it's safe to say this year's show will be hectic.

If I have energy to spare, there should be some time for German beer and attending shows at night, and I even hope to see a couple of UNESCO world heritage sites in the area as they are only an hour's drive away.
