BioWare/Pandemic Interview

Gamecloud had the opportunity to chat with BioWare's Greg Zeschuk & Ray Muzyka and Pandemic Studios' Andrew Goldman about their newly announced partnership. A snip:
Q: Are there any plans to self-publish some games outside the mainstream publishers, as BioWare has done with their paid downloads of Neverwinter Nights modules?

Ray Muzyka: Our online community of 2.75 million registered users is very active and we're truly grateful to them they are loyal fans who keep us in business and we're always trying to find new ways to deliver content to them. The online modules for Neverwinter Nights are an example of episodic post-release content, and we're definitely planning more in the future! However, at the same time we're going to definitely continue working with the best retail publishers for retail distribution of our games publishers like Microsoft for Mass Effect and Jade Empire (for BioWare), and THQ for Pandemic (Destroy All Humans) and LucasArts for both BioWare and Pandemic (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Battlefront II) have all been great publishing partners to us in the past and we at BioWare/Pandemic certainly hope to continue working with them and other great publishers in the future.
