Fans of the first X-Men Legends (or just fans of the series), will find a lot to like in X-Men Legends II. Sure, the visuals aren't exactly groundbreaking, the gameplay isn't all that different and there are some voice-acting issues, but considering that the first game was solid to begin with, some minor upgrades were all we really needed. If you're looking for a quick and fun hack-and-slash RPG with plenty of backstory and more mutants than a traveling freakshow, you'd do well to pick this one up.
