Placing a pre-beta build of a game beside a truly revolutionary example of the genre is sure to reveal some areas where the new game is lacking; however, Dungeon Lords shows signs of brilliance that should only improve as the game progresses. Morrowind will always be a crown-winning game in the RPG genre. Dungeon Lords attempts to build on what Morrowind accomplished before it. Just because it falls short at this juncture is no indication where it will be a few months from now.
